"Dear Cobb Tuning, I just flashed the ECM on my 2011 Subaru WRX STi wagon using the Accessport I purchased from you a couple of weeks ago. Nothing crazy - just the Stage I map for 91 octane gas. No other mods to the car (at this point). You have given me a completely different automobile. I loved it before, but it was a little lurchy at low RPMs, and definitely had some flat spots in the power curve, not to mention the sharp cutoff at the rev limit. Now there is ample power across the rev band, and the car pulls right up to the rev limit. But what I wasn't expecting is that the car is now so much more refined. The lurchiness is just gone. The car is much easier to pilot around the streets of Seattle, whether or not I'm pushing it. What was a great car is now an amazing car - truly a joy to drive. Not to mention the fact that a second grader could easily follow your installation instructions. I thought I must be missing something because it was so simple. I don't know how you guys managed to beat Subaru at their own game. They designed the bloody car but it took you all to tune it properly. It is now the car it was meant to be. Thank you! "

"Received! Thank you so much, Shayne. You're one of the reasons (great customer support) that I've stuck with COBB since 2003. Your (now old school) COBB Club Spec Kit I had installed on my 2002 WRX made that car amazing. It ran flawlessly for 90,000 miles, right up to the day I traded it in on my '08 STI. When the sales manager at Mark Miller Subaru in Salt Lake took it for a test drive, he came back grinning from ear to ear. The Accessport I got last year for the '08 was a snap to install and brought noticeable new life to that car at stage 1. When I visited Mark Miller Subaru South Towne in June, 3 years and 7 days after I bought the '08 STI, I had no idea I'd be driving an '11 STI sedan off the lot, because their website showed no inventory. I bought the '11 (pre-owned, with 2598 miles on it), and insisted on getting my COBB license plate frame off the back of the '08 (it's part of my cars' tradition since the '02 WRX). So there I was, 900 miles from home, and no way to uninstall the Accessport. In fact, I didn't even think about it until I got the '11 home. And today, Sir, you made my day! "I wish I didn't wait so long to divorce my kinda useless flasher and upgrade to the most useful tool I have for my car. The new Accessport is much faster at flashing and loading than the old version 1, it doesn't need a serial port, and I think its easier to use than most dealer scan tools, that do less. Thanks COBB for the Accessport.  I was about to give up on my car, sell out and retrograde.  Now I can monitor and check the state of my engine and all sensors.  I was able to see that my current tune is very modest and keeping my engine running healthy.  I have a revived hope for the new year, new parts and a pro tune down the line.  Nobody can leave good enough alone for long. Although Id rather have a EF civic 4wd wagon or CRV than an EVO, I still rep Mitsubishi turbo's, just for the wastegate actuator adjustability and model variations/hybrid possibilities. I hate to say it, but I am "partially" powered by Mitsubishi.  All I got to say is Subaru engines are so good Toyota wants to use them. Thanks for all the hard work making it a seamless upgrade from version 1 to 2. Very Satisfied Customer!"

"Hello All, I recently visited Cobb Tuning Socal's facility to purchase some RBF600 brake fluid. I have to say that a facility is top notch and the staff is very friendly and professional. I was given a tour of their garage and dyno room. When I walked in there was no sales staff as they were out to lunch and had to wait a few mins. Upon their return they apologized and we began to ring up my purchase. As we were talking I mentioned I wanted to baseline my car for future mods. Jon and his colleague offered to give me a free baseline since I had to wait for them to get back. I was more then happy to oblige. They also mentioned that they had not dynod a stock 2012 yet. So Jon strapped my car to the dyno and Steve was nice enough to get footage of the dyno pull. The results can be found in the attached image. The car made 479whp and 485 lb/ft of torque on their Mustang Dyno. Suffice it to say they seem like a great group of guys that will be getting my business in the near future. I would recommend these guys to anyone just based on the level of service I received, when all I went in to purchase was 50$ worth of brake fluid."

"I just want to say hello as a new user of COBB access port on 335I, and just want to share my extremely positive experience of the guys at COBB. I always believe that you don't know good customer service until something goes wrong. In this case it definitely happened through no fault of COBB. I was getting my AP delivered to New York and UPS lost the first one due to some address misunderstandings and UPS taking the wrong decisions, and then losing the package for a week or so. Chris at COBB went above and beyond to ensure I got my AP - thank you! Also when presented with an unrecognised ROM I received a new beta firmware within two working days of emailing it to COBB. Exceptional! Anyhow, long story short I now have AP installed on my BMW, a tankful of 99, & looking forward to a refreshed driving experience. no warning lights so far. Thank you"

"Just finished driving around the streets and freeways of the OC enjoying my new mods and re-tune. More details to be shared later (as it's pretty late) but I did want to take a minute and recognize the guys over at Cobb SoCal. Not only did they deliver the expected flawlessly (great parts, great tune, and great advice on mods based on my specific needs for the car), they also delivered a level of customer service that was completely "above and beyond". I'm talking about things like arranging transportation to my hotel after dropping off my car, accomadating my last minute request to have parts installed and have the car tuned on an already busy weekend, and leaving a family members wedding to meet me at the shopm to allow me to pick up my car at 11pm, then staying at the shop another hour to walk me through the upgrades and the plan for my old parts. Ultimately, Jon, Ant, and team collectively went out of their way to ensure that I wasn't just happy with my car, but also my experience with their shop. Thanks again guys and you've truly earned a customer for life! What's a six hour drive down from the bay when you get service like this."

"Shayne Just wanted to report back to you about my gas mileage. Went to Phoenix [ 400 miles ] with the stock BMW tune installed and got 24.5 mpg cruising around 75-80mph While I was there I installed your Stage 1 tune and coming home I got 27.1 mpg driving the same speeds but in the opposite direction. That's approx 10% better than stock. I couldn't believe it. Way to go Cobb."

I also wanted to make sure the car was still suitable for daily driving (I perform a lot of highway driving.) Your product was extremely easy to install, and I was thrilled with the instant performance it added to my 135i. (I actually was somewhat annoyed with BMW for delivering this product not at its full potential.) My 135i was very enjoyable to drive prior to the reflash, and now it is even more so.
