Description

The COBB Rear Motor Mount is the best way to minimize engine movement, improve traction, and reduce wheel hop without major impact to NVH. Typical bushing designs can rattle your teeth out at idle or during throttle input. The COBB RMM utilizes unique voids custom molded into the 85A durometer bushing to absorb vibrations, but still reduce engine movement to aid getting all the power to the ground. The beautifully machined 6061 billet aluminum mount with zinc hardware will make you sad you have to hide it under your car.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Product Despite the manufacturing issue with the durameter sizing which was fixed, a phenomenal product. With the stock mount, there's extreme amounts of wheel hop, which is 70% gone when this mount is installed. The rest of the hop should be removed when the other two side mounts are installed, although they are unfortunately sold another site. Also, with the stock mount, torque steer is insanely high, although with the new mount...you'll be asking yourself what torque steer even is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good motor mount I installed this motor mount on 07/05/14. I also changed my front motor mount at the same time, different manufacture. The reason I chose this motor mount was because of its size when compared to other aftermarket rear motor mounts. Cobb also has a reputation for making quality products. I installed the rear motor mount for a specific purpose, it helps get rid of the banging and rocking of the motor on hard launches. Replacing the front motor mount was done for the same reason. After replacing both parts there is a lot of vibration in the car. I have put 200 miles on the parts and the vibration has gone down some. I cannot say what the vibration is with just the Cobb part as I have not driven the car with just the Cobb motor mount. Torque steer has also been reduced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Upgrade! I know that this product is intended for the ST, but when I started getting �the bang� in my Naturally Aspired 2013 Focus SE, I decided to upgrade my mounts. I got a TTR upper mount first. It fixed some of the issues, but there was still some wheel hop and the bang was still there. I bought the Cobb mount, problem solved. Wheel hop totally gone, no bang whatsoever, it even reduced the vibrations I was feeling after installing the TTR upper mount. For those of you not 100% satisfied with the Cobb mount alone, get the TTR Upper one too. Together they are awesome! Great Product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have Prior to installation (stock engine) upon hard acceleration and shifting gears there was a noticeable "clunking" noise that was unnerving. The stock mount is inadequate and is made for comfort and not performance. The Cobb mount solved that problem and now we have solid shifts and the "clunking" noise is gone. However, we do have more engine vibration felt in the car. This is a small price to pay for such an amazing "Bang for the buck" Bolt on! I rate it as a MUST HAVE

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great build, great price I've had this on my gen 2 MS3 for almost a month now. So much better than oem! Shifts are smoother, no more knocking noise when slamming through the gears and the torque steer is greatly reduced (I'm sure replacing the passenger mount would pretty much do away with it). There is more NVH but for me it's only been in a small portion of the rpm band (1700-2400) and it's not really bad. I actually like the noise. Install was super easy. Conclusion: If you want your car to shift the way it should have from the factory, get more power to the wheels and still have a comfortable ride I would highly recommend this mount.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NVH are almost none existent I had another known brand RMM on, but as soon i saw this one advertised, i didn't doubt to get it. From day 1, the engine felt more RIGID, but the vibes that come with such mounts were not there, it's been 5 days and still if i get vibes they aren't disturbing, i think when it breaks in, this mount will be stealth. GREAT JOB GUYS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cobb RMM = No Wheel Hop Just had the RMM, RSB, and lowering springs professionally installed on my TB-ST3. The RMM produces low NVH's, but just enough for me to feel in touch with the car. The difference in shifting through the gears at medium to WOT is like night and day. Cobb's products are excellent and worth every day that you have to wait for them to be released from R&D...smilin' every day I press the touch start!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic motor mount Well all I can say is WOOWW!!!! I bought this RMM for my 2013 MS3 and what a difference. I've been a manual tranny guy my hole life but for some reason when I bought the MS3 I could never make a smooth shift in the car. I put this thing on and 10 minutes later I was blown away with how smooth the shifts were. Totally worth your money. Also traction was improved dramatically.
