Accesstuner is engine tuning software created for enthusiast tuners. Accesstuner allows the user to get into the heart of the OEM ECU and create custom calibrations for vehicles equipped with virtually any performance modification. The end result is a tune that is custom tailored to the vehicle's unique modifications, producing maximum power gains while maintaining the drive-ability and sophistication inherent in the OEM ECU.

System Requirements: Windows: XP 32 (not 64bit), Vista (32 or 64bit), Windows 7 (32 or 64bit), or Windows 8 (32 or 64bit). Older Accessports (V2b) must be updated on a Windows 8.0 or older computer before connecting to 8.1

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Program, Awesome class! I was initially upset learning I could not get Accesstuner Race a few months ago. Cobb decided to pull the program and redo their approach to user tuning. The class is extremely informational, not too long, and it is VERY well worth the money to receive this class and program. The class in my belief will have a little something for everyone from the beginner to the salty pro. Cobb has returned to their full glory in my book. 100/100 awesome product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for a beginner like me, Unfortunate for an experienced user At first I was a little disappointed that I couldn't just download the software and start learning hands on. I've already spent a lot on the device, and now to use its full potential, there is another $150 to spend. My 05 sti is tuned by a friend using opensource which I have also slowly been learning with his help. To speed things up, I've decided to switch to COBB because of conveniences like real time tuning and you don't have spend time figuring out how to add new tables to your rom as they are discovered. I'm cheap lol, I don't like spending money but in the end, the EFI/Cobb course has definitely been a worthwhile purchase for me. In the first half of the course, EFI University will teach you how efi systems work. You may already know a thing or two, but the EFI courses will still be very informative and fill in the blanks where ever your knowledge falls short. The second half COBB teaches you about how Subaru's ecu works and Access tuner. The course consists of videos and multiple choice exams. Fail the exam? Watch the video again and take it again or you can just attempt to take it again. Once you complete the exams, you will receive an email from COBB for your access tuner license after a short time. If I forget something, I can still go back and watch videos again as I learn to use the software hands on. I enjoyed every bit of the course, I Think COBB and EFI did a good job. I just feel bad for those who are already experienced and need the software. For example, if I just wanted a friend to tune my car i'd still have to pay for the course as well as anyone else that asks for their help with no intention of learning. There aren't really "official" local tuners here in Hawaii that I know of and its hard to get support from someone in the 48 states.
