COBB Tuning is excited to announce another update for BMW AccessPORT support. Effective immediately, Australian N54 equipped BMW 135i, 335i, 335is, 335xi, 535i, 535xi, Z4, Z4is and 1M vehicles can take advantage of the power, control and convenience of the AccessPORT that US and European BMW enthusiasts have been enjoying. New AccessPORTs are shipping with pre-loaded performance enhancing Stage1, Stage2 and Stage2+FMIC maps to get new users up and running with the push of a button. The maps specify the appropriate RON fuel grade required for each map to perform properly. All previously sold AP-BMW-001 AccessPORTs can be used on Australian N54 BMW’s by performing a simple firmware upgrade. The Australian BMW AccessPORTs come with all of the same features released on previous versions, including Performance Monitoring, Live Data Gauges and Datalogging of over 60 ECU monitors, and DTC Scanning and Clearing.

Australian BMW N54 enthusiasts can also take advantage of the recently released v4.00 BETA maps. These v4.00 BETA maps were developed to provide smoother response, more power and address the 3k RPM “surge” that some users have been experiencing. In addition, Stage1+FMIC BETA maps have been released for those cars with upgraded intercoolers, but without the necessary exhaust modifications to satisfy Stage2 hardware requirements.

These Beta maps are available in the BMW AccessPORT Map Database. Simply click the red BETA Maps button, review the acceptance page, and click the I Accept button to be taken to the BETA v4.00 maps.
