Rally Armor UR Mudflaps
Smart Volkswagen drivers take precautionary steps to armor their cars with the best of the best in automotive protection and that often starts with Rally Armor premium, vehicle specific mud flaps. Rally Armor is the established brand that drivers in the know seek when they want to minimize the damage done to their vehicles by grit, gravel, mud, rocks, snow, salt, tar and even road-kill. Wise, risk-averse consumers know that costly repairs can add up, so they get ahead of the curve by investing in Rally Armor poly-UR-rethane mud flaps.

So, is the Percentage based on the VW released specs for the engine? (210HP/258TQ) Or personal numbers reported by Cobb or others? (Around 230HP/270TQ)
If it’s the VW Report Numbers, for Stage 1 93 we are looking at 264HP/314TQ on the Peak.
But, if they are self determined numbers, similar to others. We would be looking at around 289HP/329TQ on peak.
Just curious what numbers Cobb is basing off of so we actually know what the gains are. I’m a numbers guy. 🙂
Hey Chris! The percentage gains are taken from WHP measured on our in-house Dynojet. You can see the actual numbers for our R&D car in the chart linked below.

Any idea when the Mark 7 Golf R software will be available?
I have a 2017 if you guys need a test mule.
We are not quite close enough to offering Golf R support to provide any sort of ETA. I’ll definitely pass your email address on to the VW team in case we need external testing, thanks for the offer!
Marshall@COBB
Is the intake compatible with a 2016 Golf R?
Great question! While we haven’t confirmed fitment, it should fit the Golf R as well.

Do you guys plan on doing power packages for the mk7 1.8 tai ?
Does the cobb AP reset the flash counters when flashing back to stock from any of the staged tunes?
Hi Daniel,
When Uninstalling the Accessport the ECU will be returned to the exact state it was in prior to the Accessport’s initial Installation.

Hi there
If I acquire the stage 1+ for my 2017 vw gti mk7 manual, will there be any clutch slipping? I heard that this may happen with manual transmissions.
Thanks
Hey Kyle! We haven’t seen too many reports of clutch slipping on a Stage 1 setup, it is usually more common on cars with higher mileage. Anything beyond Stage 1/Stage1+ we definitely recommend an upgraded clutch.
