Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Installation, lacking finishing touch The Sound Symposer Delete is pretty straight forward, remove the stock components, add this plate. However once you remove the stock components there is still an issue do deal with. The firewall hole or if you kept the electronic valve in place capping that port. I added a simple rubber stopper from the hardware store, its a #8 1-5/8 - 1x5/16 x 1. It was $1.86. I inserted into the elbow that comes from the firewall to the hose. Just untwist the hose and install the plug and install the elbow back in the firewall.

I installed the plate on my car about two weeks ago but I noticed that once I removed all of the tubing and components from the sound symposer, there is now a 1-1/2" hole in my fire wall. I've been looking for something to plug the hole ever since but I haven't found anything yet except for buying the delete kit from some other company. The kit that you're getting here is great and I have not had any problems with it! But there is no plug for the firewall which would be really nice. I guess I should have looked into it more but just buying it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quite a difference Finally got around to installing it yeatersay. Took 10min. Cabin noise significantly reduced (running stage 3). Not a huge deal, but the instructions said 10mm for the bolts, but mine were 8mm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what the Focus ST needs I seriously underestimated how much of a difference this little modification would make. I also didn't realize how awful the car sounded with the symposer connected. The minute I started it up after installation it sounded like a car should again. I am running and aftermarket exhaust and I can really hear the tone of it now instead of it getting drowned out by fake intake noises. The kit is very simple and so is installation. The parts are HIGH QUALITY, which is what expect and pay for when ordering from COBB. Overall very satisfied.

I bought it in your shop and everything is just perfect. The delivery was so quick. It took less than 48 hours although i live in Germany!!! Just great

Rated 4 out of 5 by from would like to see more. i just installed my delete kit, mine had no O-ring in the box, had to look around the shop to get one to work, would also like to see a cap for the firewall included in this kit, lets look at making it a complete kit like the steeda one.
