Constructed of black 5-ply silicone, the COBB Turbo Inlet is a direct replacement for your 2008-2016 STI! The custom silicone construction of the COBB Turbo Inlet rejects high engine bay temperatures and keeps the intake air closer to ambient temperature. The steel wire reinforced design eliminates the issue of hose collapse that other inlet hoses suffer under vacuum at peak demand, yet allows adequate flex between the engine and the intake.

Utilizing the COBB Turbo Inlet will eliminate the factory 'accordion-style' hose that can cause turbulence in the intake tract. Increasing the efficiency of the inlet will reduce stress on the engine as it is able to breathe much easier with a higher-flowing intake path.

Subaru Silicone Turbo Inlet STI 2008-2019
  • 5-Ply Silicone in Stealth Black
  • Larger Diameter Allows for Increased Potential Air Flow Delivery to the Turbo
  • Increase Horsepower, Decrease Turbo Spool Time, Improve Throttle Response and Acceleration
  • Direct OEM Replacement
  • Design for Standard Sized Inlets on the Turbo of 2.4"

Rated 2 out of 5 by from GOOD QUALITY BUT DOESNT FIT! I ordered this hose for my 2010 STI hoping for the same quality that I've gotten from all my other Cobb products. The hose is amazing construction and very durable but it doesn't fit 2008-2010 STI vacuum line set up! I did whatever I could to make this intake hose work for my car but no matter what it still triggered a code for a vacuum leak and put the engine in limp mode. When I called Cobb all they told me was that I was routing the vacuum lines wrong but considering I took it apart and I'm a certified master tech I'm pretty sure I know where vacuum lines go. In my picture you can clearly see the vacuum line for the ebsc is just about the same size as the fitting on top of the intake itself. If you have a 2008-2010 STI go with the Perrin to avoid a headache like I had.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from MY2016 STI I wanted to get a good turbo intake pipe to replace the factory piece that is well known to fail and leak over time. Managed to fit it without removing the intake manifold. The pipe only needed minor trimming on the ends to fit nice and securely. Only one issue I had was that the stock pipe has a fitting for the crank case vent hose near the bov return fitting, but this one didn't have it, so I ended up teeing into a fitting further forward. Could be because it's an ADM car, but who knows.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Will not work with V3 Air/Oil separator Bought this for my 2011 STI to replace the junk stock turbo inlet. It arrived quickly. Quality of the inlet looked excellent. Went to install it on my car and realized it was not going to work. I have a V3 air/oil separator installed on my car. This AOS uses a hose off the fitting on the stock inlet right before the turbo. The COBB inlet does not have this fitting, and without it the AOS will not function. Pretty disappointed as I was really looking forward to putting this on my car. If it wasn't for this one issue I probably would have given it 5 stars. If you have or are planning on getting a V3 AOS, do not purchase this inlet, it will not work. I have already contacted Customer Service and they were great. I am returning the inlet and will be purchasing one that has the proper fitting to work with my AOS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2016 STI LImited Product looks nice and is definitely a tight fit. There was no spot for the line that came from the PCV valve with the sensor of the heater damper from the firewall. The product is very high quality! It did take about 4-5 hours to install without taking off the Intake Manifold. I did have a few extra parts left over Extra parts. 2ft hose, the 1/2 elbow, and the Tee splicer. As far as it seems at the moment everything is great!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Turbo inlet hose This hose involved alot of time to install. Make sure you are knowledgeable on taking off the intake manifold and understand how the vacuum lines work. Great product compared to stock one. Do research on the install prior to purchase to ensure you are capable, or take it to a shop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from If it wasn't for the install... I love the product, so far it has removed all of my turbo chatter, however it took 8 hours of serious labor to install... I would only recommend you install with a professional or a friend that has accomplished the full install prior!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good performance upgrade, Cleans up under the hood. When installing it is difficult to fit in an area that is a little smaller then the pipe. Keep an eye out for sharp edges when trying to fit up or outer silicon coating will rip. If you are going to install yourself expect to spend 4 hours or more on it. When directions come out on where to hook up lines it will be a lot easier to install but non the less a great add on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very heavy-duty construction I bought this because my stock turbo inlet had a hole in it near the turbo ...with this part i won't ever worry about it getting a hole in it . Because of how stiff it is i am glad i was rebuilding my engine and had the intake off to install this on my 2011 sti .
