The Stage 1 Drivetrain Package for your 2015-2019 Subaru WRX includes the Shift Plate, Shifter Bushing, and Shifter Stop.

The COBB Shift Plate for your 2015-2019 Subaru WRX is designed to reduce overall shift throw while maintaining an OEM-like feel. Two adjustment points allow for either 15% or 35% reductions in shift throw. Weighing in at 825g, the COBB Shift Plate maintains a moment of inertia comparable to the stock part which provides effortless gear changes. The slim design allows for the factory-installed splash guard and heat shields to remain installed for an OEM-level of protection.

The COBB Shifter Bushing for your 2015-2019 Subaru WRX consists of an aluminum carrier that houses an IGUS polymer bearing. The aluminum carrier eliminates slop present when using the factory rubber isolator. Use of an IGUS polymer allows for low wear and friction which leads to a long life.

The COBB Shifter Stop for 2015+ WRX MT is an injection molded fiberglass-reinforced nylon that allows for adjustment to achieve more precise shifting. With installation and adjustment taking mere minutes, the results are instant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Fantastic Upgrade for Short-Shift FANS! Great value but the inner-most pin (one closest to the fulcrum point) will provide the greatest reduction in throw. The outermost pin would move farther..easy to tell...which means the reduction in throw would be the lesser of the two..I used the inner pin and with the STI short shifter ..plus Cobb's shift bearing my throws are less than 2 in....a fantastic product. Be warned as others have..the roll-pin is a challenge. Invest in a set of roll pin punches...5 bucks?....you'll still have to hammer on it pretty hard....but I made zero progress with a standard punch and just succeeded in mangling the end of the roll pin and a little of the old shift plate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Brainer Installs in a snap. Had to remove the shifter bezel and adjust it once after the initial install cause I didn't like how I set it up the first time. Definitely makes the lateral shift movement crisper. I can shift faster and be more confident that I'm solidly in gear with the stop. I like that the replacement bolts are studs. They allow you to adjust the right side stop and lock it in. Then work on the left side stop without havin to worry about moving the right side out of place. Other stops don't have this small but useful design consideration. At $35 and 20 minutes of your time....it's a no brainer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for me I've had this shift plate installed for the past 3 days now. Prior to the plate I just had a Raceseng slammer (635g), Perrin shift stop, Perrin shift bushing, Whiteline positive shift kit, and Group N transmission mount. Adding the shift plate to the mix on the 35% reduction setting is a perfect combination of shortening the throw and it actually seems to have taken some additional slop out. I opted for this over the Boomba plate as I generally liked the OEM shift plate was, but wanted a shorter throw without reducing the height. With the Boomba shift plate the heat or protector shield or whatever it is can't be reinstalled so I didn't want to have an additional part laying around. Overall it feels great and like some others have commented, this is the way it should have come from the factory. Another win for Cobb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Drivetrain stage 1 Great quality. Car has factory sti shifter and this really makes the throw better. As long as youre lined up right the pin on the factory plate isnt that hard to get out. Knock the smaller pin out first if you have to. Instructions need to be reviewed by cobb though. The throw is shorter on the INNER hole, not the outer. And the shift stop didnt need a 12 mm but did need a 10 mm DEEP socket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crisp, short throws So i already have the STI short throw shifter from the factory in my WRX. When i was installing this I put the pin on the inside hole (15%) reduction. Glad i'm did, in combination with the STI shrort throw, felt like a 50% reduction! Feels great though, clean, crisp shifts that are the perfect length. I did this install in combination with the perrin shifter bushing. I will say, it's worth it, but holy moly that install. Took me about 6 hours. Couple problem areas. Getting the roll pin out of the old plate. If you have issues, take out the inner small first, then outer large. Second, lost the roll pins, they shot out when i hammered them out, try to avoid that. Third, getting the found roll pins into the new plate. Lastly, getting the shifter arm back on the bushing. They say you don't need to remove the C clip, but you really do in order to get it on well. All in all, took all day, but worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shift Plate Bought the drivetrain package. Shift plate is weighted perfectly. Installed easily and reduced throw considerably. With the Shifter Stop and Shift bushing I now have the shifter that I would have built for myself. Smooth, Tight, Quick. Top Notch Cobb. Thank You for all your hard work.
