Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sounds Great Added this and an AEM intake to the car before having it tuned. It sounds great with the factory exhaust. It is an increase in sound but no where near as loud as a full turbo back. It's a good mix of being able to hear the car when you want to but it is still easily masked with the radio when you don't. This piece mixed with the tune and intake cause a noticeable bump in power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Titanium catback exhaust on 18' STI I just finished the install on my 18' STI and I can't say enough great things about this exhaust. This catback is absolute top notch, the build quality is incredible, it sounds phenomenal and it looks stunning! Is crazy how light this system is compared to other SS catbacks. Coming from a different catback brand, I can say the drone on this exhaust is much much less, almost stock like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keep Your Mufflers Just installed this DP paired with a Mishimoto intake and Nameless catback muffler deletes. Sound before the DP was loud, but nice and bearable. Paired with the DP however, it is almost obnoxiously loud. No fault at all of Cobb or their product. I can't say enough good things about the build quality, performance, or customer support. Just as a warning, if you deleted your mufflers, be aware. Still 5 stars though!

The sound is PERFECT and is what an STI should sound like... perfect rumble without being annoying. Not only that, this exhaust looks incredible. The craftsmanship is top notch, which made install a breeze. Was able to install this solo in about an hour with no fitment issues. Could not be more pleased. Thank you Cobb for always delivering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best sounding exhaust by far I just got done with installing this exhaust onto my 19 STI and wow it sounds absolutely incredible. I'm running Nvidia catless downpipe and so with that combination it is very loud but certainly doesn't drone. Cruising you can hear the exhaust but it isn't too loud that you couldn't have a conversation with a passenger on the highway but open her up and wow people certainly know that you are coming! Love love love this exhaust!!!

Respectable noise level with anyone concerned about it being too loud. That was my biggest concern. It makes the driving experience much more enjoyable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Pipe I bought just the J-Pipe for my 15' Wrx 6spd. I followed another major brand's install video. One thing I wish this kit had was studs & nuts for the turbo housing. these will strip out and need to be replaced. I had to use a dremel and cut off the top bolt of the 4. other than this annoying bolt being stuck, the rest of the process went fairly smooth. make sure to have a small propane torch handy to head up the nuts so you can head up the 4 bolts one at a time and make the bolts expand and "liquidize" some of the Loctite or whatever is in there making it a pain in the butt. Once I drove around in the car, I was Pleasantly impressed when I was cruising around town. something just doesn't feel right with the mapping. I think the car needs to learn more become more consistent. there was no instruction's with this kit and since I have never bolted on a full exhaust before, I had to figure out the gasket situation and the rear donut gasket onto my stock cat back exhaust. Overall I think I am happy with my purchase. I just need to drive the car more. As for the rest of you, I hope Cobb finishes their kit with more of the extras you'll need during install like new gaskets, how to video, studs, bolts, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Opens It Up I purchased the Downpipe and following some of the advise of others, I went ahead and purchased new OEM hardware for the Turbo Studs, Bolts, and a new Turbo Gasket. I cannot stress enough that you will need this replacement hardware. I had 2 bolts strip out on my turbo studs. It is a pain to remove the stock pipe, but once it is off this is an easy install. I ran this with the COBB OTS Maps and it opened up the car a bit more. It adds a good note to the exhaust w/ the stock catback, but caused a bit of rasp as well. You can also start to hear the whistle of the turbo. I have some clips online of some drive bys and revving with this pipe and the stock catback if you search youtube. I ended up also having a fitment issue with this pipe and it was knocking the underside of my car. COBB was very quick to identify and rectify the problem and replace the j-pipe at their expense. I opted for the resonated version this time around to reduce the rasp and will leave a review for that one as well.
