Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another quality cobb upgrade Great addition to my 09 wrx 5 door. Very noticeable increase in torque and boost just as the graphs show. This was my latest upgrade in addition to the cobb sf intake and SPT cat back exhaust. install : all in all it took me about 3 hours and I did it solo - would definitely take less with a helper. The install video is pretty on point. I would definitely replace the 'donut' gasket, my car only has 55k miles on it and the old gasket was rusted/gunked into the old dp... I chiseled it off and the thing was a mess, so I took the gf's car to the local dealer and bought a replacement. I also replaced the springbolts where the dp and mid pipe connect, mine were pretty rusted and one of the springs actually broke when I took it off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The one upgrade every FXT needs Top quality product, perfect fit and easy installation. Pricey, but worth the money. Fitted with an efficient cat. so my social conscience doesnt feel bad for polluting, nor does the car smell. Factory like fit, and stock-silent with the factory cat back, the perfect upgrade for a daily driver. Big power gains in an easy to install package. I'd highly recommend getting new flange & donut gaskets, OEM ones are cheap insurance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product Me and my buddy put this on and it took us about 5 hours of partially goofing around and such. For the 2016 STI it is nearly impossible to get to the turbo heatshield / downpipe without taking off the intercooler. I am currently running a Muffler Delete Axle Back system ontop of this, and it sounds awesome. It is deep and has a nice rumble. The major difference I noticed between Stage 1+ and Stage 2 is that boost hits and holds 17-18lbs at 4000 rpms in stage 1+, but in Stage 2 it hits around 10lbs at 3500-4000 and then starts building but is way torque-ier. Over all, awesome product and I recommend it if you are looking for a little extra kick

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, but be prepared! I had it in my wish list for a while and finally bought it. I did my research and watched a bunch of YouTube installation videos and ordered all gaskets, bolts and nuts ahead of time so install went smooth. Had to use penetrating oil and torch to break loose turbo nuts and bolts but it wasn't too bad. The whole process took about 4 hours. At first test drive immediately noticed low end torture increase and better exhaust sound comparing to stage 1. I'm very pleased with stage 2, plenty of power and exhaust sound is great with some crackles and pops of backfire. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Product Fitment was spot on, appearance and build quality A+ Performance gained is incredible. When paired with Accessport and Short Ram Intake, the difference is unreal. Car felt completely different - I just took my car back to stock and removal was easy as well. Can't believe the difference in the performance of the car with and without the downpipe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product, but... I would like to have known ahead of time that it is highly likely you will have to replace the turbo gasket and donut gasket when doing this install. The stock donut gasket on my stock downpipe after 40k miles is completely seized and will not come off without tearing up so a new one is needed. To be safe I am now ordering a turbo/downpipe gasket to replace as well. This would have been extremely useful information on the initial install to begin with. Now I have to take everything back off the top of the motor, take off the heat shield (that I had to buy later from Cobb because guess what, the stock one won't fit on the Cobb downpipe) and do all the work I did almost over again. If I have anything to add it is to recommend FROM THE START.... You need the Turbo to Downpipe gasket, Donut gasket for the mid-pipe and the Cobb Heat Shield. You really wasted a lot of my time and it really irritates me. Nice downpipe, really poor delivery....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Value Mod EVER! After a month with the AP, I knew I wanted more... The COBB DP was the answer! Unmatched build quality and fitment. Super easy to install on jackstands in a tight garage, solo. Integration with AccessPort is seamless. Completely different car now. Zero turbo lag and pulls hard all the way to 6500RPM. Only slightly louder than stock which is great when trying NOT to attract attention of CHP. No "bees in a can" sound either. Had high-flows on other cars and noise was borderline unbearable. NOT with Cobb DP. Bonus, now you can hear the turbo spool. SWEET. Cant wait for first track day!!
