Simple Installation:  Everything is included for the simple installation!  Intuitive on-screen instructions identify your exact vehicle and available maps.

Simple Uninstall:  Revert your ECU to exactly as it was before with the easy to use Uninstall option from the main menu.

Trouble Codes:  Read engine trouble codes to diagnose issues.  Clear them when resolved.  Prevent expensive trips to the dealership.

Change Maps:  Store up to 100 maps from our OTS map database or from your favorite COBB tuner and quickly switch between them for any need.

Gauges: Use your Accessport as a gauge to monitor boost or any other live information, directly from the ECU.

Data Logging:  Record multiple data channels simultaneously for in-depth evaluation of engine performance.  Stores up to 10 hours.

Performance Measuring:  Welcome to your own performance evaluation suite!  Measure 0-60 mph time, 60 foot and ¼ mile ET’s. and Trap Speed.

Volkswagen Specific Features:

Adjustable Traction Control: Adjust target traction slip on the fly (Slots 1-8) and maximize tire grip to best suit given track conditions (wet/damp/dry/street/slip/burnout/etc). Note: Feature must be enabled in ECU calibration for use.

Flat Foot Shift: Improve shift times and keep boost built during shifts. Flat Foot Shifting can hold engine RPM at a set RPM between 3000-8000 RPM during shifting. This feature is enabled in COBB OTS maps.

Launch Control: Adjust Launch Control on the fly with 6 pre-configured RPM slots to dial in launch based on track conditions and vehicle configuration. Enabled in OTS Maps and configurable within Accesstuner Pro.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Customer Service I bought the AP from RallySport Last week. Installation was simple and quick! The features of the V3 are amazing! Unfortunately I had an issue with my intake manifold so I had to remove the unit to take the car in for service. However in troubleshooting the issue prior to a shop visit Grant from Cobb CR was very helpful. He responded quickly and then asked for an update once I found out what was causing the issue! I really appreciated the quick response from the Cobb team and they for sure made me feel like they genuinely cared that I got the car back in working order! I absolutely recommend a purchase from them and will be going back for parts in the future!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Better ways to spend your money. When I first bought the Cobb AP for my 2017 AP it seemed to be pretty amazing. You can flash a tune on to your car and clear engine codes! Who doesn't want a faster car?! I installed the 91 Octane tune (took about 20 minutes) and went for a drive, monitoring knock which was all over the place. This is ONLY from a stage 1 with 91 octane top tier gas. Strike 1. I went back and immediately uninstalled at which point I noticed it was giving me an error code U112e/431a. I think nothing of it and "clear" it. Lo and behold, it doesn't clear. So much for that feature. Strike 2. Other than these it's an OK product, but also feels technologically dated and flimsy.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Vehicle not supported by AP I have received my Accessport today and I have tried to install it on my Mk7 GTi 2015 model, however, once I click install, a screen shows up and tells me that my vehicle is not supported by the AP. This is actually really disappointing as my car exactly matched the AP that I have purchased, as well as, living outside the US, in Dubai specifically. This would really make it hard for me to find a solution. I have already stored my vehicles ECU data on my computer hoping COBB would find a solution for me. Would COBB send me an update for the AP so that it does support my GCC spec car as I am living in Dubai United Arab Emirates.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mod I bought this about 2 years ago and I still use it. It’s amazing for showing you all the data you wanna see on your dash & it’s pretty accurate! You can swap tunes on the fly as well. There’s been rumors that the stage 1 & stage 1 plus tune ruins the clutch in manual cars fast, I will say it’s false. I was on a stage 1+ 93 octane tune for at least a year. Now, stage 2 might do more harm if you’re still on a stock clutch. Although in my case, I drove it daily and hard from time to time. It does not ruin your clutch, BUT can increase clutch wear if you drive it every day like you stole it. In other words, if you know how to drive stick your clutch will be just fine! Great product all around!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small unit Massive Power increase! I've had many Cars with 325 to 525 HP, & a few Turbo cars also. The Cobb AP stage #1 made my bone stock GTI feel like a Mustang GT W 425+ HP. While it may seem a bit Expensive? YOU get,- Super simple Installation, a small guage unit & Diagnostic unit, flash back to Stock, Valet, Upgrade & More! for me it was a no-brainer that Cobb was the way to go. I must admit I was going to go with one of the other 3 companies thinking the Cobb would be a weak underperformer. I can assure you, it produces more power than a reasonable person can expect! I'm floored at how FAST the car is now!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'm a fan. This is a slick system and I am impressed with the dynamics changes that have resulted. My car is definitely quicker, has more pull and 3rd gear has become much more useful day to day. I'm a fan so far. While there's more power and torque on tap, your car can remain as polite and understated as you want it to. You still have all your low rpm control. But be aware that when you decide to give it a push, it will respond and you may see a little more spinning and torque steering that you will need to manage. It is absolutely easily manageable but there's a little power there that wasn't prior to the flash.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top quality device and company! I've had multiple handheld tuners, but the AP is the best by far. Fast load times, seemless PC/USB connection, and it just feels well made. My device arrived with mounting accessories, a nice zippered case, and 2 faceplates (black and gray). The black matches my interior great. The magnetic dash mount holster makes it super quick and easy to pop out of the car and take it into the house for updates. Tune switching is fast (about a minute) after the initial flash from stock. All this, plus the included customize-able gauges makes this a win from any angle. This Accessport just gives you so many more features and flexibility vs paying similar money (if not more) for a one-and-done flash from competitors. There is also a large group of protuners around, and online e-tuning shops that utilize the Cobb platform.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good tune, but.... I bought the AP about a month or so ago. The quality seems good. The guide to the stages however is a bit off. If I did more research I would have figured that a new clutch is all but required if your tune changes the stock torque. Not knowing this I went for the stage one+ off the bat(cause I'm not completely stock). It caused slippage in mid to high revs, like when trying to pass a car on the highway in normal driving conditions. Backed it to stage one and still had slippage just not as bad. Now at stock and trying to save for a clutch upgrade so I can actually use the AP. This all being said I must point out that all parts in all vehicles are built to be within a range of standards. Therefore some are at the higher end of the spectrum and some the lower. My clutch seems to be on the lower side and has nothing to do with the quality and performance of the Cobb AP
