DSC Sport V3 Controller for Porsche Cayman GT4 (981) 2016
"The easiest, fastest, and best Plug-N-Play suspension upgrade for your 981/718 Porsche! Intended to replace the factory suspension controller to work with the OEM shocks as well as Tractive shocks and other aftermarket electronic suspension options.
Now introducing fully dynamic suspension for the 9×1 platform! The DSC Sport controller features all the same great technology and tuning capabilities as the V1 9×7. Additionally, the controller introduces velocity compatibility and magnetic motor mount tuning control.
All 991, 981, and 718 models are Velocity compatible, made possible by the factory four wheel ride height sensors now equipped on all models. Velocity tuning allows adjustment based on the velocity of the piston rod movement, more accurately tuning the chassis to road surface changes. This feature provides a new dimension of tuning that maximizes both performance and comfort.
The controller also improves upon the dynamic engine mount control offered as an option from the factory. This is a vital improvement for precision handling in fast corners, high speed transitions, and rapid load changes.
DSC Sport Controllers come pre-programmed ready to go!"
DSC stands for Dynamic Suspension Control. Using an algorithm developed out of years of professional race data, DSC adjusts the damping level of each individual shock in virtually real time. The result is an active suspension setup that provides more grip to the tire, greater stability and ride control, and increased comfort for all driving styles and road conditions.
DSC Sport allows drivers to custom tune their suspension by creating various tuning maps within the DSC Sport Tuning Software. Users may wish to create custom maps for specific tracks or roads, unique rain set ups, or to improve compatibility with other aftermarket products and vehicle setups.
