Rated 4 out of 5 by from My Cobb 20G Turbo Review I purchased this turbo a few weeks ago and overall I am happy with this product. Nice quality turbo for sure but the reason for the 4 stars is that the actuator on it hits my inter cooler. I had to use spacers on the bracket to keep it from touching and it raised my intercooler on one side. Now my intercooler sits angled up on the passenger side. As far as power goes, I lost the initial torque thrust that stage 2 offered on factory turbo but it pulls harder and longer up top. The turbo performed what it was designed for as advertised. With the stock VF48, you can feel my car "run out of breathe" on the top end and this Cobb 20G remedied that. Check out my Protune results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing turbo set up! I bought this Cobb 20g based off a review from a buddy of mine who has one, I gave it a shot and boy was I impressed!! Great throttle response, pulls hard, doesn't choke out at top end! And sounds killer when it spools and sounds great through the exhaust! I highly recommend this turbo! I installed this on my 2010 wrx with a grimmspeed tmic with other supporting mods! Will not work tho with stock tmic. Only little issue I came across was the Cobb 2.4inch turbo inlet doesn't fit 100% past the tgv even left untrimmed. It still clamps down on the compressor inlet but doesn't sit flush. Hands down tho a amazing Subaru turbo!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Turbo Packs a Punch! I have a 2015 Subaru STI and we have been running the Cobb 20G turbo now for about 3K miles. I have only positive things to say about their turbo. Dont let the TD05 or the 20G fool you. This little guy hits full boost at about 3K RPMs and holds it through redline. We are running upgraded Fuel Rails, injectors, upgraded TMIC, Turbo back exhaust, Cobb Accessport, and a Cobb EBCS. On E85 we are sitting strong at 400AWHP at 19lbs. We have stock internals so we stopped at 400 to keep reliable horsepower. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an upgraded turbo. I have used competitive products to this 20G in the past and they do not compare. From the price point to the easy power it produces, its a 10 star product in my book. Perfect OEM replacement. The only issue we had was with the Waste Gate hitting the TMIC. However, you will find this will the other products as well (From experience).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the 20G! Got it installed and eTuned by a Cobb approved tuner. Works awesome when the boost comes on at around 3000 RPM it pulls way harder than the stock VF48. I didn't have the issue people are talking about with the wastegate hitting the TMIC?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome turbo I installed this turbo on an ej207 with an OEM fuel system and it put down 343/309! And we ran out of injector obviously, the car feels like a two stroke dirt bike the turbo pulls HARD!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded my expectations! Cobb and their 20G, Flex Fuel system, FMIC... big gains!!! I was finally able to get my 20G, flex fuel system, FMIC etc... installed and wow what an amazing improvement on ACN91 and E85!!! E85: 410 WHP/420 WTQ, ACN91: 329 WHP/313WTQ.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This turbo should have come with the car to start with... This turbo woke the car up to the point where its not going to be too much for stock internals but offers a bump over stage 2 power levels. Torque hits in the midrange hard and carries across a bit better than the stock turbo. The td05 is still a bit small for the 2.5 but it is a good cheap reliable option
