Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid Product, BUT Doesn't Fit The FXT! ⅘ Stars because this looks and feel like a nice hose and sells for a decent price, but it didn't fit my car as advertised. I tried to install one of these on my '04 FXT, and it was not long enough to bridge the gap between my factory air box, and my factory turbo inlet tube. This is because this part was made using measurements from the WRX. The air box is positioned much higher in the FXT. Kyle at Cobb tried to fit it on an FXT they had in their lot, and confirmed that it is too short. (He was very nice about it and took great care of me, btw.) So, until the site is updated to reflect this, don't be fooled! Do not buy this for your FXT!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Upgrade For The Money, Period! I can't imagine a better way to spend $100. The install in my 02 WRX was less than graceful since some of the rubber lines had actually hardened and fused to the connection points. But I was patient and they eventually wiggled free. Once the old stuff was out it was simple with the instructions on the COBB tuning website. Overall it took about 20 min and was still the easiest install of anything I have done to date. After I was done I hooked my COBB AP to my laptop and downloaded the new map. The change was instantly obvious. A stronger and more consistent pull from launch to top speed. Hands down the best $100 I have spent on my car to date.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound & Quality Product! I installed the SF Intake on my 03 WRX Wagon in less than an hour without having to jack up the car or removing the wheel. The removal of the silencer was the most difficult aspect, but all in all it was strait forward and easy. Prior to installing the Intake, I was looking into purchasing a BOV for more turbo sound that some appreciate, but now Im glad I didn't. Unless you're pushing a lot of pressure it's not necessary, the sound from removing the air box/silencer was exactly what I was looking for. Now as far as power gains, I honestly didn't notice much but it did however make a little difference in throttle response. Quality product, definitely recommend this intake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Subaru SS 3" Downpipe I was surprised how well this pipe breathes! Power increase is obvious and fitment is spot on. Very stealth in the sound department with a stock muffler but still a very noticeable back pressure reduction. I chose this pipe for the quality I've seen in all of Cobb's products but also for the other not so obvious features. For example, the welds between the casting and the stainless extrusion have more than double the welded surface area of the competitors pipe. The cat is down low and keeps the under-hood temps down. Should I ever need to replace the cat, its location under the car makes replacement (at any reputable exhaust shop) easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy install runs great with ots reflash Was chasing a power leak and wanted to replace stock 2 port on a 02 Wrx but didn't want to pay 500$+ for a protune since I have the v3 ap. Cobb just released +ebcs maps so I decided to try it out and I'm very pleased with the results. The loss was due to my timing being off but now that its fixed I can notice a big difference in the way my pressure is running and also my boost monitors are accurate down to the hundredth decimal. With the stock 2 port I could only monitor tenth decimal. Sounds better runs smoother and again a very easy install.... Only thing I'd change is they should include a photo diagram for people who might not know the difference between compressor nipple and turbo nipple

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So simple! Been riding around with stage 2 93 map for about a month now and boy what a difference. Those who are hemming and hawing about it because of price, just pull the trigger. It's worth it. It's now even easier to pick one up since Cobb has partnered with Affirm, so you can make payments on it instead of dropping a big chunk of change all at once. My only quip with it is how astronomically off the dyno feature is. As you'll see in the attached image, it's not exactly accurate, seeing that my only mods are turbo back exhaust silicone inlet pipe, and an sti intercooler...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean install and smooth opperation (fixed rough idle/misfire) I bought a 2003 WRX and for the first few months it ran rough at start up (while cold). Stuttering and idle issues. Codes for misfire on all 4 cylinders. Worked with the prior owner to troubleshoot. This car was open source tuned with a different manufacturers 3 port EBCS. I was wondering if the tune was possibly the issue as every other "fix" was tried. Installed this Cobb 3 port boost controller and loaded up the stage 2+ 91 tune from the website via the Cobb version 3 Accessport. Difference was immediate. Smooth idle, even at 40 degree Minnesota mornings, and NO misfires! Pretty much changed everything for the car. The EBCS works as advertised and the car runs incredible and smooth. Thanks Cobb!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful little kit. Product fitment is top notch, and the intake system feels very high quality. The air-box gives a nice clean look underneath the hood, and the SRI allows your turbo to be more vocal both inside and outside of the cabin. I didn't purchase this product anticipating huge power gains, but I will say that with the AP stage 1 tune, it feels a bit smoother than stock and a little more powerful in the top end. Highly recommended to those who want to hear the noise of the turbo rather than their stereo. Cheers!
