The custom silicone construction of the COBB Turbo Inlet Hose rejects high engine bay temperatures and keeps the intake air closer to ambient temperature. The steel wire reinforced design eliminates the issue of hose collapse that other inlet hoses suffer under vacuum at peak demand, yet allows adequate flex between the engine and the intake. The COBB Turbo Inlet Hose is designed to be a direct replacement of the OEM piece. Steel sleeves are used to join the Turbo Inlet Hose to the stock intake and by-pass-valve. Installation is easy, requiring simple tools, no modifications and all hardware is included. Color choices include traditional COBB Blue and our new Stealth Black. The COBB Turbo Inlet Hose for the MAZDASPEED3 offers intelligent design, premium construction and high value.

This sleek, high temperature silicone hose replaces the clunky plastic OEM piece. The interior features a uniform lining and incorporates a true taper design, eliminating any sudden neck-down in diameter found on lesser designs. The end result is a smooth, unrestricted path from the intake to the turbo inlet, adding power and improving engine responsiveness.

MAZDASPEED Turbo Inlet Hose - COBB Blue is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from not correct for current TSB for anyone that had the smoking turbo issue and took it back to the dealer, they either replaced the turbo or they relocated the crank case breather right before the turbo inlet. In my case the dealer relocated the vent line, so this part is missing the connection. I was able to get some hose and connect the breather back to the OEM location. Kinda sad that the part doesnt take into effect current TSBs (I later found out that there is a company that makes a turbo inlet pipe with added vent line). the product is a still very nice and i am happy with COBB, just with the part would be up to date with TSBs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first proper mod ... and I didn't break it I installed this directly after installing the gear shift weight - I already had the intake & airbox out. I'm a newbie but I managed it - the instructions should probably list a pair of locking pliers (that'll be my next purchase) ... actually, the COBB instructions I downloaded don't list any tools at the start. I think I can notice the difference - the engine/turbo does seem to run a lot ... "freer"? As my 3MPS is reaching its 10th birthday (Dec 2006), this is her first real COBB upgrade. I'm looking forward to the next upgrades over the coming months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from COBB TIH Great product easy install old one out and new one in within 25 minutes. Just curious, will I need a tune to run this?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cobb TIH Installed this bad boy today in under an hour with no problems. Fits perfectly with my cobb SRI and replaces the chinsey factory inlet hose. After a quick retune on the access port the gains were immediate and noticeable. Intake sound is even louder as well as engine responsiveness improving. I recommend upgrading your rear motor mount with this upgrade as you'll be putting more power down and the OEM motor mount won't be able to get it all to the floor. Great product...keep up the great work Cobb!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect! This inlet hose is perfect in every way! Not only does it fit great and have a nice look, it delivers noticeable gains. I highly recommend this when getting the SRI. After getting a tune with the Accessport it is incredible! Cobb's service is top notch too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More responsive. Had this on for almost 2 weeks and my initial impression is not more power, but more responsive. The sweet spot around 2200 to 2500 RPM is where you feel the difference. Just enough snap so you can feel it. Certainly the response equals performance. Photo side by side with original inlet pipe. You can see the difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge difference! It honestly blew my mind when I took the stock inlet hose off and compared it side by side with the Cobb TIH upgrade. The stock one is very cheap, plastic, and mine was very warped and bent probably from heat soaking. The quality of the Cobb TIH is just outstanding. The installation was a little tedious as it was a very small space to work in, but once you get the actual hose onto the turbo its a breeze. The sound combined with the Cobb SRI is night and day difference.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lot of bang for the buck! After getting my inlet tube put on, which was an easy install, I am amazed by the responsiveness when getting on the gas! When paired with the Sri you hear and feel the turbo kick in about 2500 rpm greatly reducing the turbo lag. It almost erases the lag all together! Quality workmanship, fast shipping and affordable price make this product a great bang for the buck! Thanks Cobb!
