2009-2012 (997.2) Porsche 911 Carrera S/GTS Support Now Available
Our Porsche team continues to develop and improve products for enthusiasts looking to squeeze every ounce of capability out of their P-cars. Today, we’re excited to announce tuning support for 997.2 Carrera S/GTS vehicles! This includes both PDK and Manual cars, two wheel drive and all wheel drive. After spending time with enthusiasts at Porsche Parade and Werks Reunion, it became obvious that owners of 997.2 Carreras want to drive their cars as intended – entering into autocross and HPDE events at on average of once a month, sometimes more! These enthusiasts now have the ability to extract more power and gain a leg up on the competition!
Accessport for Porsche 987.2 Cayman, Boxster / 997.2 Carrera

The below vehicles are now supported by our POR-008 Accessport which was previously limited to Porsche 987.2 vehicle support.

Off The Shelf Maps and Power Gains
With the release of tuning support for the 997.2 Carrera S/GTS, owners are able to enjoy an increase in overall power and smoother power delivery. The following Off The Shelf Maps are available for supported vehicles:
- Stage 0 v101
- Stage 1 91 v101
- Stage 1 93 v101
- Stage 1 100 v101
The Stage 0 OTS map is simply the factory calibration data, Stage 1 OTS Maps are intended for vehicles in an otherwise stock mechanical configuration. An upgraded cat-back exhaust/mufflers will be fine and will not cause any issues.
Below are dyno graphs representing pulls using the included Stage 1 OTS maps for both 91 and 93 octane fuels. As you can see, both maps provide gains in both power and torque across the board. The Stage 1 100 map will produce an additional 4-5 peak horsepower.

Potential for Unknown ROMs
Our engineering team does its best to ensure support is available for all vehicles upon release though occasionally we do run across a situation where customers encounter an Unsupported ROM message during installation. While we do not expect this to be a large issue with this release, instructions for submitting an unknown ROM can be found at the link below.
I’ve noticed that you don’t have much in parts or development for my particular car, a Porsche 997.2 Turbo. Why is that? And additionally, why should I buy your V3 Accessport if you haven’t done much research or testing for this model Porsche?

This is actually a very well understood platform for us. Parts availability may be sparse on the website right now as we unfortunately just removed another manufacturer’s parts due to long lead times. We do hope to offer packages for the 997.2 Turbo again in the future as we are already building relationships with other parts manufacturers. With the 997.2 Turbos using direct-injection fueling we are fuel-limited when it comes to our Off The Shelf Maps and Stage Power Packages. We actually published some information a couple of years back after we performed some R&D on the factory fuel pump configuration, seen here: (Tech Tuesday – Porsche Fuel System Testing). While we may not have the full turn-key packages available right now, I can assure you that the Off The Shelf Maps included with the purchase of an Accessport are far beyond the quality of any other available tuning solution. You can always reach out to one of our Porsche Protuners/Dealers as they would be able to put together a package of bolt-on upgrades to pair with and optimize Accessport tuning.
