  1. hey what’s up guys , just what to say thanks for having the best product out there ,just lose my mazdaspeed6 from a accident ,& now bought a audi a4 s-line 2.0T ,will u guys be thinking about making a accessport unit for these cars ,cause at this time most only have tunner in shop to upgrade car ,but would really like to have the ease of programming on the fly anywhere ,so please think about this one ,thanks again keep up the good work.cool!

    • Unfortunately we don’t have any plans for the VW/Audis right now, sorry. But we’re always happy to hear people would buy it if we did!

  2. Hi i have Mazda 3 MPS 07 and just got a new turbo (BNR stage 2.5) but now when i drive it its got a boost cut or something at 5000 rpm just wanna know if Cobb access port would help solve the issue, thanks in advance

    • Because the turbo is larger, without any kind of tuning, you are probably hitting all kinds of limiters. If you don’t already, you will need tuning (AccessPORT is a start) and an upgraded HPFP at a minimum. You’ll also need custom tuning since we don’t have OTS upgraded turbo maps. I would highly recommend putting the stock turbo back and on getting the AP first and running a Stage 1 map. Then after the HPFP upgrade and an exhaust upgrade, you could re-install the turbo and get a custom tune.

  3. Hey,
I was looking into upgrading my exhaust on my mps6 and was wondering if this unit offers flash tunes for that. Also I have read about boost limiters through out the gear ranges. Does this unit also help with that?

    • There are no boost limiters, but there are torque targets that could potentially limit power. With the Accessport, you will get full power in every gear!

We offer Stage 2 maps that will help make more power with a full exhaust, but you will also need to upgrade the CDFP to make sure you have optimum fuel pressure.

  4. Hi Ian.

i own a 6 MPS and as be know, torque and power are electronically limited in the first 3 gears only allowing full power access from 4th gear onward.

i am considering the purchase of this unit to adjust the latter.

my only concern is that if there will be any mechanical strain on the awd transmission and engine if full power is unlocked.

furthermore, what would be the best setting to program for high power every day use outside of standard spec?

    please advise?

    • Bruce, our MAZ-002 Accessport should be compatible with your MPS 6. We do offer World Market support for that platform so you should be able to use it out of the box. If you’re just looking for a small bump in power I recommend any of our Stage 1 maps. They do not require any aftermarket hard parts as they take advantage of the power left on the table from the factory. Any time you increase power output you will introduce higher stress levels to the drivetrain of a vehicle however the Mazda vehicles tend to hold up fairly well. As long as you stay on top of maintenance you should not have any issues with reliability. – Marshall@COBB

  5. furthermore, the Model i have is 2008. will it be compatible with the unit as it states on your site under worldwide, 2004-2006?

    regards.
