Gary Sheehan Named as Marketing Director

Cobb tabs marketing veteran and leading road racer to head enhanced sales and advertising initiatives

COBB Tuning today announced the appointment of Gary Sheehan as Director of Marketing. In this newly expanded role, Sheehan will provide strategic oversight to all areas of COBB Tuning’s marketing department. Sheehan will work closely with the Engine Management, Engineering, Calibration and Fabrication organizations to ensure that COBB is targeting appropriate areas in the market to address the needs and expectations of its customers. Sheehan will also be responsible for analyzing the automotive landscape to clarify the future direction of COBB Tuning’s growth.

“I have worked with Gary in the past and have always been impressed with his high degree of professionalism, knowledge of the industry and ability to effectively communicate within it”, said Trey Cobb, founder and owner of COBB Tuning. “He also has a unique perspective in having seen our company grow over the years and he is keenly aware of our core mission and values. Sheehan has a 17 year history in sales, marketing and engineering positions along with an equal amount of time in motorsports as a racing driver. Most recently, he was an Executive Account Manager at Verizon Business, focusing on the growth of their Collaboration business with an impressive roster of Fortune 500 clients. His participation in professional motorsports career continues and includes competing at the professional level in Grand-Am and World Challenge racing series.
