COBB Tuning has partnered with EFI University to provide customers sought-after Accesstuner training. This training and subsequent testing is required to gain access to the Accesstuner software.

Below are the steps to get your copy of Accesstuner:

  1. Provide and confirm the REQUIRED details including your first/last name, email address, Accessport serial #, and Accesstuner supported vehicle.
  2. When details are confirmed, customers will be passed to EFI University checkout for the relative platform course (i.e. Mazdaspeed).
  3. Once checkout is complete, EFI University will provide you with the Accesstuner training course.
  4. Once the Accesstuner course is complete, Accesstuner testing will be administered and must be passed prior to gaining access to Accesstuner software.
  5. When you successfully pass the Accesstuner training test, you will receive an email with a link to your copy of Accesstuner.

After agreeing to the information, click on the blue button at the bottom of the pop-up window.  Users will then see the following screen which must be filled out correctly in order for the Accesstuner software version to be compatible with their vehicle.

Accesstuner training with EFI University is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes of video based training.  There are quizzes following each topic and the total testing portion of the training course can be completed in approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.  Students can take the training at their own pace, but should expect a total commitment of just over 4 hours.

  1. This is a bit ridiculous that Cobb is charging the MS3 platform for something we have already previously paid for.

The MS3 AP was $150 more than other platforms because we had access to ATR and now you want us to pay for it again?

I think Cobb needs to go back and reconsider on this platform and make things right.

    • Ernesto, this is a simple misunderstanding. The Mazdaspeed Accessports have a higher price due to the development costs being higher. It has absolutely nothing to do with the availability of Accesstuner/Accesstuner Race.

  2. i have a ap v2 is there a way to set lunch control on it i dont have the accesstuner neither gonna pay for it

    • Hi Yuslier,

As it turns out, Accesstuner is no longer available for the v2 Accessport. Sorry for the bad news. You will not be able to set launch control on the v2 unless you already have an old version of ATR.

  3. When is the accesstuner going to be available again? I was excited when i saw the ability to tune/modify stuff but since i can’t get the software then it really limits me
