COBB Tuning is proud to announce that Mitch McKee has taken on the Lead Calibrator role at the COBB Tuning SoCal retail facility in Fountain Valley, CA. Mitch is up to the challenge of tuning the wide range of creations that enthusiasts come up with in this hotspot of high-performance car culture. Mitch will be armed with a Mustang MD-AWD-500 dyno, a laptop computer, and his extensive tuning experience, backed up with the combined expertise of COBB Tuning’s elite team of Calibration Specialists and the entire AccessPORT and AccessTUNER Development Team in reserve.

Mitch joins COBB Tuning with over eight years of professional tuning experience. During this time Mitch has worked directly with OEM manufacturers such as Mitsubishi and Koenigsegg, as a private contractor performing trackside race-tuning support, and most recently, as a much sought after tuner at AMS Performance. Mitch has tuned too many makes and models to name, ranging from an army of EVO Xs, turbocharged Subarus and Nissan GT-Rs to exotics such as twin-turbo Lamborghinis and Audi R8s and Porsches, all utilizing the factory ECU for engine management.

Mitch’s experience is further bolstered by his heavy involvement in motorsports. He has tuned race cars across circuit, drag, drifting and rally disciplines racing in SCCA, NASA, Redline Time Attack, Import Drag Racing, Formula Drift, D1 and Rally America. His combination of experience tuning from mild to wild street cars and extreme racecars will help COBB Tuning SoCal serve the needs of their diverse customers.
