The 2018-2020 Ford F-150 features a 2.7L twin-turbocharged Ecoboost V-6.  This forced induction powerplant falls right into the COBB Tuning wheelhouse, so right off the bat we were excited to see what could be accomplished.  This is a very capable platform in a stock configuration and further exceeds expectations with some minor modifications.  Our initial step into this platform is with the COBB Ford Intake System along with some appearance upgrades.

Unlock the full potential of your Ford F-150 3.5L EcoBoost by exploring our selection of Ford F150 mods. Visit our website today to find the ideal enhancements that will elevate your driving experience!

The COBB Intake for the 2018+ 2.7L Ford F-150 checks every box that enthusiasts expect from a high-quality bolt on upgrade.  The factory piping from the air-box is replaced with dual 3″ mandrel bent aluminum tubing to maximize airflow while custom silicone couplers ensure perfect OEM-like fitment.

The injection molded, fiber reinforced airbox lid incorporates a closed-cell foam gasket to seal the filter from mud, dirt, and debris. Powder coated tubing, composite material, and a COBB nameplate transform the engine bay to look as sharp as the F-150 exterior.

Also, we combined the improved airbox design with a high flow, dual inlet, tapered-oval filter. With 165% more surface area over stock, the intake produces more air-flow and a more audible turbo sound when building boost at low RPM.

  1. Love what you guys are doing for the F-150. Any chance the 3.0 in the new Explorer will get some love?

    • Alexander,

Thanks! I don’t think we have any current plans for the 3.0 but I won’t say never.

      Adam @ COBB

    • Hi Jack,

It will fit the 2016 model year but we don’t advertise it since we will not offer a tuning solution for that model year truck. There are many changes between 16 and 17.
