Preparing for SEMA – Mazdaspeed3
An interesting bit of trivia… so far this month our SF Intake for the Mazdaspeed3 has been more popular (in sales) than the WRX, a regular top ten popular product. Yes, it’s a limited production model but obviously there is a lot of enthusiasm amongst its owners.
Our Mazdaspeed3 will be at SEMA this year, displaying a host of parts such as our AccessPORT, Turboback exhaust, Front-Mounted Intercooler, Sports Springs, Sway Bars, and of course the popular SF Intake. Shown in the pics below is our pre-production air box for the SF Intake, skillfully designed by one of our engineers Billy Brooks. The billet velocity stack pulls air from a cool source in front of the front wheel well and directs it up to a sealed box that surrounds the SF Intake. Removed so you could see inside is the carbon fiber top for the air box. This design allows for a cool air intake without the risk of ingesting water into the engine if driving through deep puddles.
I second the Speed6 route as well. THE ECU’s are the same with just different maps on them so I would think it shouldn’t be that hard to roll it over to the 6. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! Piggybacks suck! LOL
Very cool. Hopefully all of the awesome efforts with the MS3 have yielded at least a little progress on similar parts for the MS6. I would commit unspeakable crimes for an Accessport.
Accessport for MS3! Forget about the new WRX! (jk)
looking forward to ALL the ms3 products, I have the SRI and love it, can’t wait for the CBE/TBE and AP
cobble cobble
I hope that the Accessport for the Speed3 will be an easy transition to the Speed6. You guys say that the SF intake was a big seller and in your top 10? I bet the Accessport for the Speed3 and Speed6 will top it!
Waiting patiently for tuning,
A speed6 owner
cant waint for either prouduct im trying to save up for the AP then ill look at the springs.
Cobb,
Indeed the MS3 has a lot of enthusiasm behind it….so where do we finally get to see what the AccessPORT can do!
You know we’ve been waiting 4ever. 🙂
Thanks,
