Subaru STi 6MT Stage 1 Drivetrain Package is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cobb Shifter bushings I recently installed these bushing on my 2011 STi. I think the car should have came with these from the factory because it shifts like it should. Shifting is more crisp and you can feel each and every gear and you shift, no slop left in the shifter. Install was ok, i removed the heat shield, and the tranny crossmember and gained access to the bushings, the replacement took me a total of 1.5hrs on the floor in my garage, with a lift and air tools this job should take no more then 45 mins. The Bushings are a little pricey considering they are three pieces of poly, but id say it was worth it. nice product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from great once installed I gave this a 1-star rating for the incorrect design for my car. Nonetheless, taken together with the front shifter bushing, this is a great product, but the installation will make you cry. I am not alone in experiencing the problems that I encountered (google it). The two holes that the bolts go through are parallel in the bushing design, however, on the stock bushing and on the car, the holes to screw into are NOT parallel, but inward facing. There is no bending the bushing to comply (which speaks to the quality of the bushing). I was really frustrated at how difficult this seemingly simple install should have been and confused as to how little attention to this major detail was overlooked. there are different methods, but here is mine: -Remove one of the metal barrels to give more lateral play so bolt goes in at an angle. -Install bushing and drive for ~250 miles. -Bolt hole now has more play. Reinstall metal barrel and bushing and bring install to completion!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Meh Just finished installing. Gotta say the quality is great, the fitment is terrible. Like the other reviewers stated, the bolt holes in the bushing should be angled instead of straight through. I ended up using die grinder to slightly angle the bushing holes were the sleeves go through, also had to grind 1/8" off the top due to pinch weld interference. Not sure if I would purchase again. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome. STI owns the competition I installed this with the short throw shifter and a borla exhaust on my new 2019 STI limited. I was going between the new Honda Civic Type R and the 2019 STI Limited. Honestly what got me was AWD and Sunroof and with this simple mod the Shifter is much better than the civic type R and the STI exhaust note is incredible. I am so sick of all the hype of the new civic type R when 1000 bucks of simple aftermarket upgrades makes the STI smoke pretty much anything on the Road. Way to go Cobb, you guys rock. These bushings are awesome. I had my dealer install them because they have the right tools.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shifter, difficult install I have a 2015 Sti. The shifter is great. I love that it is adjustable both in height and throw and it can be adjusted back to stock spec if you desire. Some helpful notes for future 2015 Sti installers. 1) Have safety wire handy for the install of the reverse lock out cable to the new shifter. You will need to wrap the safety wire around the reverse lock out and feed it through the Cobb shifter. Pull tension to align the lockout cable, shifter and knob piece. Insert a tiny punch through the middle to hold the alignment while you tap the roller pin through the opposing end. 2) If you shorten the height of the shifter, be prepared to crawl under your car to check the clearance between the reverse lock out cable and the driveshaft. My hands were just small enough to fit between body, driveshaft, and the heat shield to zip tie the cable to the side. Problem solved. Unfortunately, I did not foresee this step and my driveshaft ate through the rubber outer of the cable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great feel I got to admit it's a tight fit, but it's a matter of using the right tool. Installed the first bolt using wrench and socket, but only managed to install the second bolt by using screwdriver with hex socket and finishing it off with wrench. But apart from scratched arms, everything is fine :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth shifting, Some news Shifts are crisper than with the stock bushings, noticeable difference but it still doesn't seem perfect to me. Perfect being like the shift of an antique car gear box, but maybe that is not realistic for a setup like this. There is some noise at real low speeds, but I don't think anyone else notices it and it is gone at anything above 25 mph. I am really picky when it comes to noises and it does not bother me at all, I was afraid it would after hearing other reviews about firmer shift bushings and the noise they can bring.
