The Stage 1 + Flex Fuel Power Package for Volkswagen (MK7/MK7.5) GTI, Jetta (A7) GLI, AUDI A3 (8V) consists of Accessport w/ DSG & S-tronic Flashing for Volkswagen AP3-VLK-002-DSG, High Flow Filter, and the Flex Fuel Upgrade Kit.
The Flex Fuel Upgrade Kit for VW/Audi vehicles makes adding Flex Fuel functionality to your vehicle and existing ECU a breeze. This kit consists of an ethanol content sensor with bracket, bespoke wiring harness, a fuse tap harness, quick connect fuel fittings, and a super slick ECU pin locator template and pin tool. We've bundled everything you need to get on corn in minutes!
This kit seamlessly integrates with the factory ECU and the provided pin locator tool takes the guesswork out of the equation. The OE quality ethanol content sensor is secured to a bespoke powder coated aluminum bracket. Fuel is then fed to and from the sensor with pre-made fuel line with OE quick disconnect.
The ethanol content sensor is mounted on the passenger side engine mount and instantaneously reads the ethanol level in the fuel multiple times per second before sending that to ECU to be used by an Accessport-delivered Flex Fuel calibration.Included as a part of this release are a set of COBB Off The Shelf Maps that are specifically calibrated for use with the Stage 1 package. All maps have been optimized for use with a completely stock fuel system, aside from the installed COBB Ethanol Sensor Kit. As such, they are configured to produce maximum power at an E30 blend. Any ethanol concentration beyond that level will result in a custom COBB DTC (COB13) and a reduction in power. Reducing the ethanol content to E30, or lower, and resetting the ECU will clear the DTC.

Upgrade Kit is for USDM models only and requires use of either COBB Flex Fuel OTS map or custom tune from an authorized protuner.

Volkswagen / Audi Specific Features:
Adjustable Traction Control: Adjust target traction slip on the fly (Slots 1-8) and maximize tire grip to best suit given track conditions (wet/damp/dry/street/slip/burnout/etc). Note: Feature must be enabled in ECU calibration for use.*
Flat Foot Shift: Improve shift times and keep boost built during shifts. Flat Foot Shifting can hold engine RPM at a set RPM between 3000-8000 RPM during shifting. This feature is enabled in COBB OTS maps.*
Launch Control: Adjust Launch Control on the fly with 6 pre-configured RPM slots to dial in launch based on track conditions and vehicle configuration. Enabled in OTS Maps and configurable within Accesstuner Pro.*

DSG / S Tronic Transsmission Flash:
DSG / S Tronic Transsmission Flash: Flash the DSG module with a COBB OTS map to improve the shift and driving characteristics. Potential improvements include increased minimum shift points, increased auto shift points, and increased shift firmness
DSG / S Tronic Transsmission Service Tools: Use the TCM Service tools to adjust clutch touch points, or trigger a clutch relearn to account for clutch wear, slip, or even increased power applications.
