The Outback continues to earn top ranks in the realm of Off-Road/Crossover Wagons available. In our opinion, Subaru’s 2.4L DIT motor in the XT and Wilderness trims is a big reason for that. If you’re looking to get a bit more out of Subaru’s already capable platform, tuning is one of the best things you can do. The Accessport and Stage 1 Maps for the 2020-2022 year range Outbacks have been available since July of 2024. Tuning support for later model years became available in early 2025. Bolt-on hard part upgrades have proven to be wildly beneficial and our tuning success with the 2022+ CVT WRXs provided a great deal of confidence in our ability to provide higher power output for the CVT-only Outbacks.
The combination of our Top Mount Intercooler, Charge Pipe, Intake Tube, and High Flow Filter with expertly calibrated Off The Shelf (OTS) Maps now gives Outback owners a new level of performance with our Stage 2 Power Packages and OTS Maps.
Stage 2 Power Packages
COBB Stage 2 Power Packages for the Outback XT & Wilderness are offered in four variants. Each includes the same core upgraded components – the Accessport, Top Mount Intercooler, Charge Pipe, Intake Tube, and High Flow Filter. Narrow down to packages correlating to your model year Outback and then choose a preferred intercooler color.

The 2020-2022 Outback XT & Wilderness share an Accessport part number with the 2019-2022 Subaru Ascent, dubbed SUB-005.

COBB Stage 2 Off The Shelf (OTS) Maps are available in three different flavors for varying fuel qualities – 87, 91, and 93 Octane. As fuel quality increases so does our ability to be slightly more aggressive with boost and timing, providing the means to squeeze additional power and torque out of the turbocharged 2.4L. Regardless of fuel quality, the increase in low to mid-range torque over stock is impressive. COBB OTS Maps are available for download from the Maps Section of our website. Simply configure your vehicle and browse to the appropriate Stage 2 Map for your desired fuel. Additional information is available on our Map Notes Page.
