2017 – 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor Updates
Firmware updates are now available for the AP3-FOR-005 part number Accessport for the 2017 – 2018 Ford F-150 Raptor. These updates include a newly added Tire Size Adjustment feature, reworked Auto Start/Stop functionality, and revised Stage 2 Off The Shelf (OTS) Maps.
Tire Size Adjustment
You asked for it, we made it! You can now adjust the tire size directly on the Accessport. This allows the correct read out for speedometer calculations. Note that if you have a different way of accomplishing this prior to this update, it should be re-adjusted with the Accessport (to avoid DTCs). This can be done through the “Tune” > “Adjustments” > “Set Tire Size” > and then using the up and down arrows to select the appropriate diameter tire size for your application and pressing the center button.
Auto Start/Stop Updates
The Auto Start/Stop feature had an issue on certain vehicles making the functionality inoperable. This was generally limited to 17 model year trucks. Updates are now included in ALL v102 OTS maps which corrects the issue on the affected vehicles.
V102 OTS Map Updates
Aside from the bug fix and new feature mentioned above, the Stage 2 OTS v102 maps include calibration changes. The previous version of the Stage 2 OTS map revision caused some vehicles to exhibit inconsistent boost characteristics in situations at high elevation (most commonly in extreme cold with <13psi barometric pressure). The appropriate tuning changes are now included to prevent these issues from occurring.
Updating Firmware
All of the above updates can be had at no additional cost through a simple firmware update. Once your Accessport Firmware is updated you can use the “Restore OTS Map” feature found in the “Tune” section. This will present the v102 maps. You can then go to “Tune” > “Change Map” > and select the appropriate v102 map for your application and you’ll be up to date!

almost may now, any new update on 2019 raptor support?
Hi Tso,
The same ETA remains (May).
Kyle@COBB
Still nothing for 2019 raptors? I was told a couple of months ago it would be a couple months. Can there really be that much change? Come on I already bought the ap, just need the support
Hi Lars,
We’re still on it! The same ETA remains (May).
Kyle@COBB
Like mid May? Late May? My accessport has been collecting some dust as I was assured the same
Model for the 17 and 18 works for the 19. Kinda bumming me
Out and your announcements aren’t exactly blatant
Hi Lars,
I’m sorry for the confusion. The same Accessport model will eventually work for the 19 Raptor but it should not have been communicated that it currently will. As of now, it’s looking like late May. We do have an email list you can subscribe to so you can be sure to never miss an announcement! https://www.cobbtuning.com/stay-informed/
Kyle@COBB
Any updates on the 2019 release?? Read it was going to be May, is that still accurate? Could I be contacted regarding two kits?
Thanks
Hi Thomas,
We’re still working hard to meet the May deadline but it may not be until the first week of June. The initial release will be limited to include the Stage 1 map but the Stage 2 map will be released soon after. You can subscribe to all to our newsletter and will be notified: https://www.cobbtuning.com/stay-informed/

Hey Lars,
Looks like our team is wrapping up development work today so we may slide into early next week.
