We’ve hit 992 tuning pretty hard in the past few months.  Our initial release of tuning support for 992 vehicles focused on the Turbo S which produces an astounding 700hp/700tq with tuning alone.  Carrera S and GTS support followed closely behind, giving S owners the ability to turn their cars up to GTS power levels and beyond.  Today we are excited to announce full tuning support for one of Porsche’s biggest hits of the year, the 911 Dakar.

While the Dakar has some unique interior and exterior bits, the underpinnings are common with a Carrera 4 GTS.  This includes both the 473 horsepower 3.0L twin-turbocharged flat six engine as well as the 4’s all wheel drive system.  Our team of engineers and calibrators have been able to utilize this to bring more power to Porsche’s rally-inspired 911 by way of the Accessport and Off The Shelf Maps.

Off The Shelf Maps & Power Gains

Included in the Accessport, also available for download on our website, are our COBB Off The Shelf (OTS) Maps.  These files are generated by our COBB Calibration Team for otherwise stock cars.  Components like replacement air filters for the stock airbox and exhaust components that retain factory catalytic converters are safe to use with these OTS Maps.

Note : Power shown is as measured on a Carrera 4 GTS.  Actual power to the wheels on a Dakar may be slightly lower due to the larger wheel and tire package.
