  1. Why are you discontinuing the AP for the RX-8? I already own a 2nd gen AP for my ’04 RX-8, so I really don’t care about buying a new one. I don’t even care about re-cracking the new ECU in the 09+ models.

What I _DO_ care about is that you’re going to severely injure community support for an excellent product. Sure, the 13B-MSP isn’t turbocharged from the factory….doesn’t mean that it can’t be added later. The AccessPORT is currently the BEST option to do just that.

You don’t have to spend the $$$ to update it Generation 3. We’ve had some great results from the Gen 2 devices on this platform and we’d appreciate it if you didn’t kill it.

    Thank you for reading this,

    • Jack,

While development on the the RX-8 AccessPORT has come to a conclusion, it will remain in production for the time being. The RX-8 AccessPORT is being sold and supported exclusively through Mazda Maniac going forward.

      Thanks for your comments!

  2. I like to tweak my vehicles, in the past a full size Chevy PU, dad’s C5 Corvette (also a couple of friends Chevys (w/ EFILive), wife’s Evo 9 (now mine as she mostly drives the “family” car, a Mazda CX-7). My question is, are any companies, like yours, looking to enter the CUV market?

    • At this time we are concentrating on our current AccessPORT offerings. We appreciate your enthusiasm for our products and hope you will choose COBB Tuning should you find yourself behind the wheel of an AccessPORT-supported vehicle!
