Subaru Intake, Airbox, & Post-MAF Hose for WRX 2002-2005

This intake and integrated airbox look great and have the combined benefits of a short ram intake and a cold air intake without any of the negatives. This system utilizes several unique features in an effort to maintain optimal flow for performance while minimizing turbulence that can cause engine management problems. From a custom conical cloth air-filter element, we use a CFD-designed velocity stack leading to an unique air flow straightener grid. This straightener grid is specifically designed to smooth the incoming air flow as it passes the Mass Air Flow sensor for precise readings. This eliminates the “dead spots” experienced by other aftermarket intakes due to turbulence. No other aftermarket Subaru intake system utilizes these critical design elements.

Subaru Intake, Airbox, and Post-MAF Hose for WRX 2006-2007

The COBB Tuning SF Intake removes a pre-turbo restriction in the stock intake system. The SF Intake intake system utilizes several unique features in an effort to maintain optimal flow for performance while minimizing turbulence that can cause engine management problems. The SF Air Box adds the benefits of a cold air intake to the outstanding performance of the SF Intake. The factory inlet directs cold air from the front grill to the SF Airbox, which encloses the SF Intake. Hot engine bay air that robs horsepower is prevented from entering the intake system. This unique design also separates rainwater from the intake air, eliminating the water ingestion issues that plague in-fender cold air intakes. The 4-ply silicone construction has the right compliance to bridge the chassis mounted airbox to the violent motion of a boxer engine being driven in anger, while the steel reinforcement prevents collapse when the turbo is drawing maximum vacuum at wide open throttle.

SF Intake and Airbox for Subaru WRX 2008-2014

SF Intake System for Subaru WRX 2015-2021

The COBB SF Intake System is our easy step intake upgrade for your 2015-2021 Subaru WRX. The airbox is constructed of black powder coated aluminum. A slot in the front of the airbox accepts air directed through the factory air scoop. Air is filtered through a larger pre-oiled filter and routed to the velocity stack MAF housing. The wire-reinforced black silicone couplers are sealed on either end with clamps for a leak-free install. With this particular intake, you’ll be flying under the radar with the OEM look while still gaining top performance increases and benefits.

Intake Tube and High Flow Filter for Subaru WRX 2022-2023

The COBB Intake Tube for your 2022+ Subaru WRX maximizes airflow potential while retaining the factory airbox. Since Subaru has chosen to integrate a hydrocarbon trap, more on that HERE, into the factory airbox it must remain as it is a federally mandated emissions component. This intake tube is designed to fit between the factory airbox and turbocharger inlet. The 3″ mandrel bent aluminum construction means that airflow is unrestricted as it is summoned from the airbox to turbocharger inlet. A wrinkle black powder coated finish both protects the tubing and provides a classy aesthetic. Black 5-ply silicone couplers are held in place with included clamps for a leak free installation. COBB High Flow Filters are designed to permit very high flow rates, minimize restriction, maximize filtration and provide a long life filter. It uses proprietary Woven cotton and metal mesh with a precision molded rubber base.
