NASIOC Top Scoob 029: Matt Kincaid’s 9 Second WRX

staging

Top Scoob is an occasional themed contest on NASIOC Forum where users vote for their favorite cars. NASIOC’s Top Scoob 029 for Christmas and the Quarter Mile saw several very fast and great looking Subarus competing for the top spot. When the dust settled, Matt Kincaid’s 9 second bugeye WRX finished on top, just like it does at most events in the Pacific North West. Matt bought the car brand new in 2001 and reached his first goal of a 10 second pass in full street trim by 2009. With help from COBB Tuning Surgeline, the car was prepped for a season full of 9 second passes in 2011. For 2012 and beyond, Matt hopes to reach 8 second 1/4 mile times with help from his sponsors: COBB Tuning Surgeline, Advanced Clutch Technology, DCCDPro, Pacific Import Auto, T-Mac Performance, Extreme Turbo Systems, and Thunder Bolt Racing Fuels. Read more details about the car on NASIOC and check out what COBB Tuning Surgeline is up to on Facebook.
