Guess who’s back…back again…. No, it’s not Slim Shady.  It’s Mazdaspeed3 Airboxes! We have redesigned the intake airbox for both Gen1 and Gen2 Mazdaspeed3s. The goal was to update the visual appeal and also see if we could bring the price down a little to help you save some of your hard-earned cash. After several renditions, we managed to accomplish both of these goals. Plus, we figured the timing would be right to make a small revision to the support bracket for the Mazdaspeed SF Intake for more strength. Lastly, we reorganized our Mazdaspeed3 stage package offerings to include the new airbox and more properly match our current OTS map naming structure.

 Updated Mazdaspeed3 Intake Bracket

Over the years we have occasionally seen failures in the mounting location for the bracket that supports the MAF housing after prolonged use and in harsh climates. This encouraged us to relocate the mounting point to a sturdier location, beef up the bracket, and coat it with a new wrinkle black powder coat to match the new air box design.  The updated bracket will be included in all future orders purchased direct through COBB.  If you have an issue with your existing bracket, please reach out to our Customer Service Team so we can get you an updated version.

Updated Stage Power Packages

With changes to Off The Shelf maps and product offerings since their initial release, our original Stage Power Packages became a bit disconnected from the ideal upgrade path. New Stage Power Packages are condensed and structured to mesh perfectly with the natural progression and budget tiers that most Mazdaspeed enthusiasts are shopping for.
