Stage1 Boost Select Maps now available for 2008-2010 STI

Boost select maps for Stage1 stock intake-equipped 20082010 STIs are now available for download from COBB Tuning. Our proprietary boost-select maps let users dial in their peak boost settings, allowing the driver to fine tune their car for current conditions for either maximum boost for best performance or decrease boost for better fuel economy or poor road conditions.

With the boost select maps flashed to the vehicle, boost can be dialed in from low to high boost by using the SI-Drive knob to select between the two different boost settings. Boost can be increased by 3 psi from “S” mode to “S#” mode using the SI-Drive knob on the fly.

Stage1 93 v301 Boost Select – Intended for 2008-2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STi vehicles with stock intake system, and a stock exhaust running 93 or 94 octane petrol. Boost Targets: ~18psi (S#) or 15.5psi (S) peak boost pressure tapering down to ~13psi by the 7000 RPM redline, +/- 1.0psi.

Stage1 91 v301 Boost Select – Intended for 2008-2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STi vehicles with stock intake system, and a stock exhaust running 91 or 92 octane petrol. Boost Targets: ~17.5psi (S#) or 14.5psi (S) peak boost pressure tapering down to ~13psi by the 7000 RPM redline, +/- 1.0psi.

Stage1 ACN91 v301 Boost Select – Intended for 2008-2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STi vehicles with stock intake system, and a stock exhaust running Arizona, California or Nevada 91 octane petrol. Boost Targets: ~17.5psi (S#) or 14.5psi (S) peak boost pressure tapering down to ~13psi by the 7000 RPM redline, +/- 1.0psi.

“HWG” and “LWG” Versions – All Stage1 maps now include high wastegate and low wastegate duty cycle versions to accomodate variances in vehicle production.

  • HWG: Higher wastegate duty cycles (HWG) for use when regular calibration produces lower than targeted boost.
  • LWG: Lower wastegate duty cycle (LWG) for use when regular calibration produces higher than targeted boost.
