The Revival of Project Focus

Ford Focus Beauty Shot Front (1)

Back in 2011 COBB Tuning set out to pave the road for supporting the highly anticipated Ford Focus ST.  Support would include tuning the Focus ST’s ECU along with a full line-up of bolt-on hard parts.  Since the Focus ST wasn’t yet available, and it was known the vehicles would share a chassis, COBB was able to jump the gun for development by starting with a 2012 Focus SE.  The initial build of the Focus SE was quite extensive and is outlined below.

The completion of this build came at the same time as COBB began transitioning away from racing involvement.  Sadly, it never saw track time in its initial configuration.

Fast-forward to 2017.

With Ford Performance releasing their 2.0L Ecoboost Crate Engine Kit, what better time than now to revive the Focus and give it a new powerplant?
