Volkswagen Jetta (A7) GLI Support
The 2.0 TFSI VW engine is a proven powerplant for tuning performance. COBB Tuning has built a strong foundation with the Accessport on the MK6 and MK7 Golf vehicles and we’re excited to begin expanding to more platforms across the MQB Platform, starting with the Jetta (A7) GLI.
VOLKSWAGEN ACCESSPORT V3 (AP3-VLK-002)
The initial Accessport release will support the 2019 and 2020 USDM (A7) Jetta GLI models including off-the-shelf calibrations for both manual and DSG equipped vehicles.
If you’re looking for Volkswagen GTI parts for aftermarket performance, the accessport is a perfect way to start. The Accessport is the world’s best selling, most flexible, and easiest to use ECU upgrade solution for your Volkswagen GTI. Unlock power hidden within the vehicle by replacing conservative factory settings with more aggressive calibrations. Follow our staged upgrade path with pre-loaded Off The Shelf (OTS) maps or use custom mapping for any modification level. It’s the last engine management solution you’ll ever need. |
Off The Shelf Maps
Our R&D investment made into the TFSI engine over the last few years from supporting the general MQB platform helped to streamline the process of producing a set of very powerful and reliable OTS maps for the A7 GLI. Three variations of the staged performance maps are included in the purchase of the Accessport along with a few “non-performance” maps for added value in special use scenarios.
- Anti-Theft Mode v105
- Stage0 v105
- Valet Mode v105
- Stage1 v105

DSG Tuning
Improved clutch clamping force and reduced shift times are applied to Drive, Sport and Manual modes within each map. Meaning that the factory Sport and Manual modes feel even sharper and more dynamic when pushing the car to its limits. Yet, the COBB OTS DSG calibrations make their biggest impact is where you spend 90% of your time driving…on the street in the Drive mode. Read below to see how each available map offers significant and progressive adjustments to the transmission’s behavior. The Off The Shelf DSG Maps for the 7-speed transmission come in 4 different flavors along with several nice features to top it off. The map options perfectly balance the hyper-aggressive Sport settings and wake up the normally sluggish factory Drive mode while also enhancing the manual paddle shifting experience to give you the most direct and responsive amount of control regardless of your driving style and needs.
