COBB Custom Features for VB WRX

The power of the Accessport is more than just basic tuning and logging. Included Off The Shelf (OTS) Maps, Live Gauges, Data Logging, and other standard features carry a ton of value, however, COBB Custom Features (CCF) available for the VB WRX truly unlock another degree of customization.
Accessport Tuning for VB WRX
Don’t have an Accessport for your WRX yet? What are you waiting for?!
We offer two Accessports that simply cover two separate regions of the world. Our standard version is compatible with vehicles destined for countries that use Subaru’s USDM version of the car. The alternate Accessport, dubbed “Australia” is compatible with cars found in multiple other regions including Australia, the Middle East, South America, and Southeast Asia. Be sure to select the Accessport that matches your region, as they are not cross-compatible.
COBB Custom Features Available for VB WRX
Once you have installed your Accessport with either an included Off The Shelf Map or custom tune from your favorite Protuner, consider utilizing one or all of our available COBB Custom Features (CCF)!
Launch Control & Flat Foot Shifting
Launch Control
Maximize performance off the line by setting a secondary RPM limit for when the car is stationary and the clutch is engaged.
Flat Foot Shifting
Maintain boost between gears by keeping the accelerator completely depressed while shifting gears. The FFS RPM Limit will keep RPMS at the desired level and prevent too much boost fall-off.
Realtime Tuning
Realtime Tuning allows for live tuning adjustments while the engine is running. This means COBB Protuners are able to dial in things like timing, fueling, and boost with extreme precision without having to perform an ECU flash with each change set. This is a feature that has been offered as part of our Subaru tuning suite for a number of years and we’re thrilled to offer it for the RH850 . While main benefits are behind the scenes and may not be as visible to car owners, this functionality is invaluable to COBB Protuners.

Realtime Tuning is currently available for all supported VB WRXs, including MT & CVT cars and for both USDM & Australian-based ECUs.
Flex Fuel Tuning
The power potential of E85 is no longer a secret, we’re here to make taking advantage of that potential a breeze. Our CAN Gateway Flex Fuel components make adding over 50hp and 80tq to your WRX as easy as a visit to your nearest E85 pump. Let your WRX’s FA24 EAT with COBB CAN Flex Fuel!
Additional Vehicle Monitors
As ECUs become more and more capable, there is no shortage of information available in the form of monitors for live gauges and data logging. Below is an example of “non-standard” monitors that have been added to the VB WRX Monitor List (as well as other Subarus).
G-Sensor Monitors:
Both “Longitudinal” and “Lateral” G-Sensor monitors added.
Added individual wheel speed monitors:
Wheel speeds for front right (FR), front left (FL), rear right (RR) and rear left (RL)
Historical Tracking Monitors:
“History Max” monitors that track the “lifetime” maximums for Engine Speed, Vehicle Speed, and Boost.
“History Max” monitor for highest boost level since reset.
“Limit Exceed” monitors:
These track the total accumulated time that certain internal thresholds for Engine Speed, Vehicle Speed, and Boost were exceeded (separate from “History Max” tracking).
Beta Pre-Ignition Detection Monitors:
Pre-Ignition Detect Count/Odometer tracking.
Per Cyl Pre-Ignition Detect flags.
Readiness Tracking Monitors:
Monitors that can be logged and/or displayed on live gauges to show a numerical “bit” representation of the current status of the Readiness Test monitors.
Added engine service diagnostic monitors typically referenced in Subaru factory service manual:
About 40+ additional service-related monitors beyond existing in the categories of
A/F Sensors #1/#3, Alternator, APP, AVCS, Battery, Brakes, CEL Activity, Evap, Fuel Level, Fuel Pressure, Idle Airflow, Per Cyl RPM, Starter and TPS.
