Porsche 718 4.0L 100 Octane OTS Maps
Porsche’s 718 chassis is often touted as one of the best options for enthusiasts looking for a multi purpose (car). Comfortable enough for every day duties but more than capable on the track or weekend canyon runs. Case in point; Porsche’s recent announcement of the 718 Spyder RS, flaunting a 493 HP flat 6 right out of the 992 GT3. While there is no doubt a handful of 4.0L powered 718 owners will be chomping at the bit for an allocation, we’re excited to continue making it easier to extract more out of the already available 718 GTS 4.0, Spyder, and Cayman GT4. The introduction of Stage 1 Off The Shelf Maps for 100 octane fuel for those cars means Accessport users have yet another notch of power on tap for those weekend canyon runs or trips to the local track. These, along with all of our calibrations for the 718 4.0L cars are emissions compliant and covered under a C.A.R.B. Executive Order, making them 50-State Legal.
Stage 1 100 Octane Power Gains
With these cars all sharing the same 4.0L power plant, tuned power output ends up being the same. Baseline runs are shared between Spyder and GT4 and come in slightly higher than that of the GTS due to Porsche’s factory tuning differences and slightly higher rev limit. Full details for each calibration can be found on our Map Notes Page, but we know you’re really here for the power numbers below. Also of note, the GTS cars are able to take advantage of additional RPM with these maps. We have moved their redline from 7800 RPM to 8000 RPM, now matching that of the Spyder and GT4.
