We are very excited to announce a new line of intercooler products for the 2004-2007 WRX and STI!  COBB now offers full Front Mount Intercooler kits as well as components to suit any level of build.

New Subaru Front Mount Intercooler Kits

Remove the overworked factory intercooler from your 2004-2007 WRX or STI in favor of the Silver COBB Front Mount Intercooler Kit. Featuring a massive 30″ x 10.35″ x 3.5″ Bar and Plate core and 2.5″ piping, this kit is capable of supporting in excess of 800 whp. The intercooler core is finished in a black heat-dissipating coating. The piping is mandrel bent aluminum and finished in wrinkle black powder coat to keep the engine bay tidy. An included BPV adapter plate will allow installation of the factory bypass valve, COBB XLE BPV, or any valve that has factory-like fitment. The cold side piping includes an integrated bung for an Intake Air Temperature sensor which makes for a straight-forward Speed Density conversion. The COBB FMIC is designed to work with the COBB SF Intake and Airbox combination though it does require trimming the SF Airbox with included template. Compatibility with other intake kits cannot be confirmed.

Includes COBB Coolant Overflow tank and Washer Fluid filler neck.

Piping Kits

Hot-Side Piping STI/WRX 2004-2007

These are the pipes that connect the turbocharger compressor to the passenger side of the COBB FMIC Core. Available separately for those who may be putting together a custom turbocharger configuration. These pipes are compatible with the COBB SF Intake however the SF Airbox must be trimmed for clearance.

Cold-Side Piping STI/WRX 2004-2007

These are the pipes that connect the throttle body to the driver’s side end tank on the COBB Front Mount Intercooler Core. A perfect solution for customers using a rotated turbocharger setup but would still like to retain the COBB intercooler core and piping.

Coolant Overflow/Washer Fluid Relocation Kit STI/WRX 2004-2007

This is the same Coolant Overflow Tank + Washer Reservoir filler combo that is included with our 2004-2007 WRX and STI Front Mount Intercooler Kits. As a stand-alone item it helps to clean up the engine bay and tuck the over flow tank lower and out of sight. Constructed of aluminum and powder coated in a wrinkle black finish helps keep the engine bay tidy. The Washer Reservoir consists of a tubing extension, delrin base, and delirn cap. It is specific for 2006-2007 WRX/STI which has the reservoir located behind the bumper cover.

Subaru BPV Adapter for FMIC WRX 2002-2007, STI 2004-2017

This adapter can be used to mount a standard Subaru BPV to a 1″ universal tube connection on the intercooler piping. The plate is threaded to accept included hardware.
