2021 Subaru WRX STI and 2021 WRX CVT Support
Following our previous release of 2021 Subaru WRX 6MT support, our Subaru team here at COBB is extremely excited to announce the availability of full tuning support for both the 2021 Subaru WRX STI and 2021 Subaru WRX CVT. This round completes 2021 MY support for USDM WRX and STI vehicles. Wondering which Subaru models we support? Check out our entire selection of Subaru aftermarket parts.
2021 Subaru WRX STI Support
Subaru’s newest WRX STI is now completely supported within the COBB ecosystem. The Accessport, bolt-on upgrades, Stage Power Packages, and Off The Shelf Maps make upgrading your STI a straightforward process. Interested in taking your STI beyond the scope of our packages and maps, contact one of our Subaru Protuners for a completely customized tune!
Visit the 2021 Subaru WRX STI Vehicle Page for a full list of compatible parts.
Accessport
SUB-004 Accessports using firmware version 1.7.4.2-18478 and newer are compatible with the 2021 WRX STi. If you already have an Accessport, simply connect it to your computer and Accessport Manager to update the firmware. Accessports shipping from COBB Tuning after today will be pre-loaded with this updated firmware.
Off The Shelf Maps
The Accessport will come pre-loaded with Off The Shelf Maps for your 2021 Subaru WRX STI. Below are dyno charts to show power gains realized at each Stage with Stage1 providing a nice bump in power and torque over stock and Stage 1+SF increasing that gain a touch while supporting either the SF Intake & Airbox or Redline Carbon Fiber Intake. These maps will come pre-loaded onto the Accessport and are also available as a download from the Maps Section of our website.
Please visit the Map Notes Page for a complete understanding of mechanical requirements for each Off The Shelf Map.

2021 Subaru WRX CVT Support
Accessport tuning support for the 2021 WRX CVT is also now available. As the vehicle remains largely unchanged from previous years, compatible parts and available map files remain the same. The Stage 1 and Stage 1+BigSF Off The Shelf maps are included in Accessport firmware and provide gains within the tolerance of the CVT transmission.
Accessport
Stage 1+ Big SF Power Package
COBB Stage Power Packages take the guesswork out of upgrading your 2021 WRX CVT. We have combined precision engineered bolt-on parts with the Accessport and professionally calibrated Off The Shelf Maps to create a completely turn-key package.
Off The Shelf Maps
Both the Stage 1 and Stage 1 + Big SF OTS maps provide a healthy power gain and smoother delivery across the board while remaining within the tolerance of the car’s CVT transmission. For those interested in modifying their CVT WRX beyond the scope of our Stage Power Package and Off The Shelf Maps, Accesstuner Pro support is available and can be used to create a custom tune by Certified Protuners.
Hah, you weren’t kidding about the 2021 STI updates coming soon! 🙂
Now for those downpipes…
So, how about those Stage 2 OTS tunes and downpipes for the 2019+ STI? Still coming soon?
Does this mean the 2020 Outback XT with the FA2.4 will finally get OTS support?
Hi Cory,
Unfortunately, this does not mean that. Support on that vehicle is still TBD. Sorry for the bad news.

When would a version for the “spt” cvt 2022 wrx come out
No timeline on that at the moment, but we are remaining hopeful. ECU tuning support is ready, we are working to better understand the control strategy for the CVT so that tuning with increased power does not produce less-than-ideal transmission behavior and poor drivability.
